More than 300 million dogs live on the streets of Asia
Over 10,000,000 in Thailand alone. If you know anything about me, you know I have a deep, unwavering love for animals and a large part of my heart belongs to dogs. No matter how many places I travel to, the street dogs I meet along the way always stay with me.
You see them everywhere. Wandering markets. Sleeping outside temples and shops. Dodging cars and motorbikes. Most are covered in scars from burns, from fights, from lives lived completely outdoors. Many have been hit by cars or left untreated for injuries that would be easily manageable elsewhere.
You can buy them food from a nearby shop. You can leave out water. Or sit with them for as long as they’ll allow. And then you walk away, knowing that what you did might have helped a little, but it didn’t fix the bigger problem.
And the hardest part of it all is the feeling of helplessness. That you would do so much more for them if you could.
During my travels, I came across Happy Doggo, an organization that started from the same place I’m in: simply feeding a few street dogs because you can’t walk past them anymore. What began as one persons small act of kindess has grown into something extraordinary.
Today, Happy Doggo rescues, sterilizes, treats, re-homes, and cares for hundreds of dogs, while continuing to feed thousands of street dogs every single day. Their work doesn’t just save individual lives, it tackles the root of the problem by focusing on sterilization, which is the only sustainable way to reduce their suffering long term.

Street dogs aren’t aggressive by nature. They’re victims of circumstance, lack of education, and limited access to veterinary care. With the right support, their lives can look very different.
This donation page exists because I don’t want to feel helpless anymore. Because I can’t keep locking eyes with another dog on the street and be left wondering what fate awaits them.
Every donation, no matter how small, helps provide food, medical treatment, sterilization, and safety for dogs who might have never known the feeling of being cared for or loved.
